Boscoe’s Place is named in memory of the longtime canine companion of the owners, Jason and Pam Sommer. Boscoe was a special part of Jason and Pam’s lives for many years. It is the hope that Boscoe’s Place will become a special part of the lives of our guests for many years to come.

The wife and I just “found” this place a few weeks ago. We so enjoyed the first time we were there that we came back for my Birthday last week. The food was great, everyone commented positively about the food. The Reuben is my wife favorite and she said it was the best she ever had. Grand daughter had a pizza and loved it. Great service, great price, great food.

I don’t usually write reviews but it isn’t often that you get both great service and great food at the same time. It’s a well deserved review. I have been wanting to try this place for awhile now. We ventured out last weekend not knowing there was a water advisory, but that didn’t affect our experience whatsoever. This place is nothing short of amazing! From the minute you walk in, it looks like a modern, finer atmosphere. It is a very welcoming place. We started with their version of a mozzarella cheese stick, forgive me for not remembering the name. It was a serving of four with a side of their pizza sauce. I am a sucker for cheese sticks and these were some of the best I have ever had. They were the size of an egg roll. As I understood they make them in house with wonton wrappers. For ten bucks, you definitely get your money’s worth. You have to try them. For dinner I had boneless wings with sweet Thai chili sauce and onion rings. Their sauce was perfect. It had a kick that hit just right. Now, their onion rings…. I cannot wait to have them again. The portion was huge. As full as I was I could not stop eating them. The batter they used was delicious. They tasted fresh, were not overly fried, or battered. They had a sweetness to them and that perfect crunch. Loved them! I didn’t leave one behind. I can’t go without saying anything about their ranch. They have some of the best ranch. I used it for my onion rings and my wings. Super good stuff! They could bottle that stuff to sell. It doesn’t taste like it came from a jar. All of our food came out quick. Hot. Fast. And our service was great. We will be back, and I can’t wait! Thank you for such a great experience!

My family and I just ate there this past Saturday 1/4/2024. The food was amazing, the service was amazing and it had a very clean atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly and had a great since of humor. We was waited on soon after we arrived, and the food came quickly after we ordered it. We got there about 3:30 and I think we had just beat the crowd. It was starting to get busy for their dinner crowd. We definitely look forward to going back. Thank you all for the great hospitality.

This place is top notch. We have visited 5 times total in the last couple years. We don’t live close. The food and service has been great each time. A couple nights ago we had our Christmas dinner there. None of my coworkers had been there before. We all had a great night with great food and service. Thanks Boscoes! I highly recommend

Great food, very cute and cozy atmosphere. I got their grilled chicken sandwich and it was absolutely amazing. The spiral doddles are to die for. I'm a huge dog person and I love how this place was made in honor of the owner's dog, Boscoe. Will definitely be returning!

Pam and Jason are great! They introduced themselves and made good conversation. All of the bartenders are friendly. The staff thanked us for coming in. The Reuben sandwich can't be beat. A patron told us that he has yet to find a menu item that he doesn't like. We'll definitely go back!

Some old friends and i go out once a month for lunch and just catch up on how everyone is doing. We decided on boscoes this time. And we were all glad we did. The food was delicious, and the service was on point and not intrusive. Price was fair. (Especially for the quality ). We got to hang out and catch up and the bartender was on top of everything. We all agreed to go back soon. Highly recommend if your just going to hang out with buddies or even taking the spouse for some good casual dining. Kid friendly as well. Five stars from me.

I was really looking forward to trying Boscoe's Place with my wife, but our experience was incredibly disappointing. We drove over 30 minutes to get there, excited to check out a new spot. The restaurant wasn’t packed—there were several empty tables—so we expected to be served in a reasonable time. However, after being seated, we were completely ignored. We sat at our table for almost 30 minutes without a server taking our drink order or even acknowledging us. About 20 minutes in, a lady briefly stopped by and asked if we had been helped. We told her we hadn't, and she asked the hostess who was supposed to be covering our table. After that, we expected our waitress to arrive any moment, but no one ever did. After another 10 minutes of waiting, we decided to leave. It was obvious that the staff didn't even notice we were gone. After driving 30 minutes back to Englewood, we were left feeling very disappointed. We had high hopes for Boscoe's, but after this experience, I doubt we'll be returning.

This place spent their whole budget on the atmosphere. The quality of the food is Walmart store brand level. The service was horrible too. Never once did I get a drink refill. Only saw the waitress when she took my order, when she brought the food, and when she brought the check. Definitely won’t be back.

The hostess was quick to approach, big fan of that. The wings I ordered were served really quickly. Sweet Thai chili sauce was a 3/5, Mango Habanero was a nice 4.4 / 5. Doodles were good, they're somewhere between a curly fry and a wedge with a good seasoning. The queso was 5/5. I'd go back.

We had a late dinner Saturday night after a baseball game. Everything was great…service, atmosphere, food. We live almost 2 hrs away, but would consider making a trip for the unique pizzas. The locals are so lucky to have this gem.

This was my first time experiencing Boscoe's, and I will definitely return. I tried the Boscoe's Smashed Burger with chips, and it was delicious. The service was prompt, attentive, and friendly, and considering the prices of a fast food value meal, I think the prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is quite nice, and Boscoe's is worth a visit if you're in the vicinity of downtown Covington.

We were here last year and got good food and great service, so today 6-1 2024 we went back and I was disappointed in the service and the food. It took for ever to get our appetizers, our server came by and said I will go back and check on them. So she stopped at another table and checked them out before going to check on our appetizers. When she came back she said I just had them put on. When we got them they were good. 3 of us got a grilled chicken sandwiches and my wife got a tenderloin. I can't remember the last time I have seen chicken so thin and it was rather rubbery. My friends wasn't even done all the way thru, my wife's breaded tenderloin was thicker than the chicken. So needless to say we won't return.

I highly recommend trying the fresh catch sandwich, it is a huge haddock filet on a perfectly toasted bun that’s still soft and buttery. The tartar sauce is really good too! I can tell that they give care and attention to every element of their dishes which is very nice. Can’t wait to come back but it’ll be hard to decide whether to try something new or get this amazing sandwich again!

Do not under any circumstances order the Ruben pizza it is not good. It was greasy and under cooked and if I was blind folded I would have thought I was eating a greasy cheese pizza. Very little cornbeef or sauerkraut. Very disappointing. Alot of the food is spicey and kind of expensive.

We were seated and never had anyone say a thing to us. After 15 minutes I asked someone if we could get a waitress. She went over to a young man and the look on his face, like it was a bother. Waited a few more minutes and just got up and walked out. We have been here several times, great food. But tonight was awful!

Every visit to Boscoe’s has been excellent, from the service to the food! We have had pizza, burgers, wings, salad, appetizers and everything has exceeded our expectations! Jason and Pam are so very personable with their customers, it is quite touching to see! It is quite easy to see the level of expectation that is required of their employees and it is definitely carried out!
We were just talking about going again tomorrow night, my vote is a strong YES!

Went for a Saturday lunch visit. No waiting to be seated. The Boscoe bombs came out for an appetizer garlic buttery dough balls with pepperoni and mozzarella in them baked golden brown. I had a hot Itialian sub called a Murphy which I added jalapeños to. It had a generous amount of salami and pepperoni on it as well as fresh romaine. It came out with a side choice, I chose doodles. They are corkscrew cut and battered fries. Everything was great.

A few friends and I tried lunch here. Nice waitres, good menu. I ordered a Rueben sandwich. I questioned the waitress because the meat was brown and tasted more like a cheap steak than corned beef. I ate half of my sandwich, and by the time I got home, I was extremely sick. I called the restaurant and was told they would let the kitchen know, but didn’t even take my name. My friends were delighted with their meals. I just hope they really let the kitchen know.

We’ve been to Boscoe’s place a handful of times, we live in Englewood with family in Bradford, so it’s nice to have a place somewhat in the “middle” to meet up with for dinner. Their restaurant is super nice, staff has always been friendly to us, and the food is always on point! I’ve ordered something new every time I’ve gone and haven’t been disappointed yet. I’d definitely recommend checking them out if you’re ever in the area.

I recently discovered Boscoe's and I have been there 4 or 5 times now. I always have a great experience. The food is amazing and the servers and people working there are so nice, helpful, and pretty great. Atmosphere is warm and I love the decor, the industrial look. All in all a great place. Sat at the bar that was half full, two bartenders. One young tall blonde other shorter and middle aged. Neither would welcome us or even make eye contact. We left after 10 minutes. I wait tables and in customer service. Not sure we'll try again.

It would nice if they wouldn't put a "tip" scale pay ticket. It looks like they are grading their employees services , good , better & great. Then according to these words is what they get tipped . I feel that if employer sees what server gets tipped , they may think service wasn't actually that great, when it was. Customers should be able to tip what that want to without "tip scale" being put on tickets

So far I have had take out 3 times, 1st time it was excellent and someone name of Marie was extremely kind and pleasant, the pizza was excellent. Second time they was friendly but it was supposed to be lg pizza chicken, pepperoni and pineapple, hardly any cheese and it had pepperoni and double pineapple no chicken and the third time I called in leaving west Milton figuring it would be done by the time I got back to Covington. I was put on hold as I left west milton and was still on hold when I pulled into their parking lot so I ordered the same thing again a large with pepperoni, chickeñ and pineapple but what i got was pepperoni, sausage and pineapple, this was the first time that their pizza actually had some thrown away. Guess when I order I can only get it when Marie works. One out of three is not good odds but there pizza is really good when you get what you order. Marie is an asset to your business. Maries service was a full 5 star all the way around but the last two times is why the stars lowered. You have to be consistent with the toppings and especially make sure it's correct.

Been here several times. Food always good and service is pretty good. In the summer, be mindful of the patio because later in the evening the sun can be right in your face and it can get hot. But you have try it sometime if the timing is right.

Menu has a lot of bar food but it’s all good. Pizza, wings, burgers, and great appetizer. Beer & drink selection all great.

Expectations were high due to the busy parking lot when we arrived, but that dwindled quickly upon entering the establishment.
Our waitress Shannon reeked of cigarettes and could have been more attentive overall. Bathrooms were ungodly and smelled of urine. Atleast the women’s did. Everything was incredibly expensive despite lack of portions and flavor. Do not recommend and will not be coming back.

We stopped to try something new, the service staff was very friendly and attentive, repeatedly checking on us throughout our meal and taking care of all our needs. The atmosphere was like modern farmhouse meets gastro pub. Clean but not overly welcoming. The food was not outstanding, but it wasn't bad either. I expected more for the cost, especially when my daughter got an order of boneless wings, roughly $12 and only 6 medium to small size boneless wings.

The chicken sandwich while cooked well, was extremely unseasoned and plain relying on the bun and sandwich add ons for flavor. The fries looked good but did not live up to that standard upon tasting.

My burger was better than average with the bacon cooked perfectly. The fried pickles were on par with most places, but the real attention food wise was the tater doodles. Thick cut curly slices of potatoes fried like a French fry. Perfectly cooked and seasoned I would definitely recommend those over the fries.

All in all, the outstanding service we received and the tater doodles were the best part of our meal. This wouldn't be my first choice to come back to, but I wouldn't mind trying again either.

My husband and I have been here several times and always have a great experience. The cheese snacks and bruschetta are our favorite appetizers. The salads are big and fresh! The pizza is always good too. You really can't go wrong. They have a nice selection of cocktails as well as beer and cider on draft. We're lucky to have this place close by!

We ordered the cheese snacks and deep fried pickles to start. There was plenty of food. We decided to split the Harper sandwich (haddock) with spud doodles. If you leave there hungry then there is a problem. Definitely will be back.

What is not to love? We had the most enjoyable experience at Boscoe's. There were 5 of us on a girls night out. We walked in to a very nicely decorated entry with a large picture of Boscoe. Very easy street access. There were booths, high tops and regular tabkes and chairs. We were sat at a high top. The evening began with Shannon, our server, who was an absolute dream. She was so informative, answered questions, very attentive, kind, and had a great sense of humor. She was our kind of people. The drinks were great. We had an old fashioned, a smoky old fashioned, margarita, and ginger mules. Personally, my smoky old fashioned was fab, and she smoked it right at the table. Nice presentation, but most importantly, the flavor was tops. We started out with fried pickle chips that were lightly breaded and super good. Also tried the garlic parmesan treats. And they were a treat! Two of us got the tenderloin sandwich and we were not disappointed. Nice size tenderloin, not oversized like a dinner plate. But still larger than the bun. It was lightly breaded so you could actually taste the tenderloin. I would definitely get this again. As my side I chose doodles. What are doodles you ask? We did too! They are scrumptious. They were described to us as potato wedges with a twist. I would liken it more to a steak fry with a twist. So, so good. Others shared the Margherita pizza and said it was tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather to enjoy the patio!

1st time visiting and was very impressed with their open layout and design. Has a very good vibe to it and is relaxing.

Boneless chicken chunks weren't much different than whats found at an Applebee's and were very heavy on the sauce. If they breaded their own chicken in-house it would set them apart from the other places. Their salad was a large portion but didn't have much cheese considering the size of it, still an excellent
choice.

The options for kids are great especially their pizza and hamburger meals. Their "doodles" which are potatoe wedges hit the spot!

Service was excellent and our server was very friendly amd kept the refills coming. Will definitely visit again.

Newest and best restaurant in Covington. Great food and service. Recommend the burgers or pizza. You’ve gotta try the giant soft pretzel too!

We have been here several times and it is always fantastic. Always super clean and comfortable. Great service. when they are short staffed the owner has filled drinks and brought out food. Food quality is great and prices are reasonable.

It's OK. Limited menu. Waitresses were very nice and helpful. Atmosphere is great. Nice bar options. But the limited menu is what I didn't care for. If you want burgers and fries it's fine. But don't go expecting a plate dinner.

We went on a Friday night, there were 6 of us including 2 children. We ended up waiting over 2 hours for our food! The place wasn't packed and we all got burgers. We even had to go up to the bar twice to get ourselves new beers. I wanted to love this place because so many people recommended it to us but sadly the service was terrible!

This place does not seem like it belongs in small town Covington!
We ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer- the plate you see in the pic is a HALF! Amazing portions. And it tasted great. It has a non- traditional twist which we loved!
For our entrées we got a chicken sandwich and a burger and they were both fantastic- but the real standout was the onion rings! Perfectly breaded- and the onion was crisp and not soggy like most rings.
100% recommended!

Boscoe's BIG Pretzel is a unique charcuterie board and very good. I also had the Nashville hot pizza which was a decent pizza. The staff were very friendly.

This was my 1st visit here. Went went my son and our neighbor. He was the one to suggest it. He had been there on the previous Friday and was really happy with what he had. So we walked in and we were seated in fairly quick time. From there it went downhill a little. Service was SLOOOWWW. Oh dear Lord it was slow. Eventually we got our food. Cheese sticks were cold enough ( all 3 of us tried 1/2 of 1 and agreed) to have to have them re-ordered. Hell they weren't much better. Onion rings were good, but both of us that ordered them agreed they could have been much warmer. Chicken wings were pretty good and they were hot. So were my son's fries. My tenderloin was good, but damn it too could be warmer. Italian sub was good. I thought it was a little pricey for bar food, but the flavor was better than average and I would try it again. Get the food out quicker and let the customer enjoy a hot meal. Is that so hard??

Been there 6 times now. Food is amazing! Service is amazing! Beer is the coldest I've ever had! Owners are friendly and accommodating! Place is clean and new! Will be retuning as often as possible! What a wonderful place! I've never used this many exclamation points in a review before!!!

Best pizza around! We love the buffalo chicken and bbq dad bod pizzas. Boscoes bomb appetizers are amazing. All the food is great. Get a big city vibe coming here. Doesn’t fit Covington but glad it’s near us.

Good crowd for a Monday night. Had an enjoyable and relaxing dinner at the bar. The sandwich was good. The pizzas looked good, so will probably try one next time

Gathered for the first time with a group of girlfriends for a birthday. First time there. We all commented on how awesome it was! Our waitress was very personable and engaging. Food was great! And the atmosphere was very comfortable. Prices were very fair for what we ordered. Will definitely be back.

Great vibe. Nice decor. Waitress was attentive and pleasant. Pizza was tasty. The only issue I had was the noise level. It would be nice if they put sound dampening ceiling tiles in place. The clanging and noise volume was not enjoyable, but otherwise, was a wonderful experience. I would definitely give it a 5 otherwise.

Had an Old Fashioned (wanted to try the smoked, but they were out, something to look forward to for next time!) some appetizers, and dinner. Server was attentive, everything came out quickly, and the food was all good. So happy for this great addition to our community! We'll be back!

Phenomenal place to eat and gather with friends. If you have to wait it is so worth it. The food never disappoints and the owners are some great people. They have a great staff that is working hard and the General Manager Eric has a great taste for food and is a really cool guy.

My husband and I had lunch here today. Our food was fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and efficient. The restaurant itself is casual, but well appointed. We plan to go back very soon!!!

I had some food from there while I was in a waiting period. The food was good and the place was nice and the staff was friendly. new place so I definitely say that they did a good job with my experience. they do also have an indoor walk up window to keep customers out of the weather and to help limit traffic inside the restaurant.
